Exchange Policy

Makeup.city Exchange & Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Makeup.city! We want to make sure you love your new beauty products. Because cosmetics are personal care and hygiene items, we do not offer monetary refunds. However, we are happy to offer exchanges under the conditions outlined below.

1. Exchange-Only Policy

All sales are final. We do not issue cash, credit card, or digital refunds once a purchase is made. If you change your mind or want a different shade, you may exchange your item for another product of equal value within 14 days of delivery.

2. Product Condition Requirements (Crucial for Cosmetics)

To protect the health and safety of all our customers, cosmetics (including mascaras, lip liners, and eye correctors) must meet strict guidelines to be eligible for an exchange:

  • The item must be completely unused, unopened, and in its original packaging with all protective seals intact.
  • We cannot accept any items for exchange that have been opened, swatched, or tested.

3. Damaged or Broken Items

Did your cosmetics arrive broken or damaged during shipping? We are so sorry about that! We will gladly replace it with a brand-new item.

  • What to do: Email us at shopmakeupcity@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your package.
  • What to include: Your order number and a clear photo showing the damage.
  • Once verified, we will ship out your replacement product immediately at no extra cost to you.

4. Shipping Costs for Exchanges

  • Customers are responsible for paying their own shipping costs to send the original item back to us for an exchange (unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong product).
  • Original shipping fees from your order are non-refundable.
  • We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot process an exchange until the original package safely arrives back at our facility.

5. How to Request an Exchange

  1. Send an email to our beauty team at shopmakeupcity@gmail.com with your order number and the product you would like to exchange it for.
  2. Our team will review your request and send you the return mailing address and instructions.
  3. Please do not mail your package back to us without emailing us first, as unauthorized packages cannot be processed.
